General Terms and Conditions 2004/2005

§1 The Program

The Program is booked as described on the webpage www.shishink-school.com.

§2 Registration

The enrolment is realized by sending the online enrolment form.  As soon as the availability is verified the student will receive a written confirmation of the course enrolment from the school.
 

§3 Payment Information

Upon acknowledgement of course confirmation the student enters a contract directly with the language school. On receiving the confirmation, 10% (max. US$ 300) of the balance of payment are falling due. The remaining amount has to be settled latest on your arrival day.

§4 Cancellation

I     The  cancellation of the contract by the student is always possible.

II     In case of cancellation the school reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee. Relevant is the date of cancellation.

Until 14 days to arrival date: the school refunds your initial payment less the administration costs.
Until arrival date: deduction of you initial payment

III     Before starting the travel you may always demand that a third person takes your place, there will be a administrative fee of US$ 12.

IV    If the student would like to make modifications to the reservation, the school may charge a fee of US$ 24 for the modification.

V     We recommend a travel insurance

§5 Cancellation of Contract by the School

The schools reserves the right to cancel the contract to a student who, after repeated dissuasion, continuously disturbs the program. In this case the school does not loose its entitlement of the program fee.
 

§6  Passport, Visa, Customs, Currency and Health Instructions

It is the student's responsibility to fulfill the requirements which are necessary for the execution of the journey to the course, such as passports, visas, customs rules, health instructions, and insurances. General information for traveling is provided by local health authorities and medical services.
 

§7 Obligation to co-operate

Notice of Defects
If the student receives a lack of proper care during his language course, he is obliged to inform the school management immediately and to request remedy. By disregarding this obligation, the duty of remedy is forfeited. It is recommended to get a confirmation of complaints in writing.
 

§8 Limited liability

The Spanish School Shishink is not liable or responsible for property damage or personal injury.
 

§9 General Arrangement

There will be no classes on Ecuador's national  public holidays. There will not be a reimbursement for these classes.
